  Note: Your total page file size should not exceed 250kb in size and should ideally load in less than 30 seconds for a dial up connection. Many home Internet users today still connect via dial up! If your page is not dial up friendly, you could be losing a good portion your audience.
Optimize Images
Use GifBot's free tool to reduce load time before uploading images to your site. This will speed your page load times and make for happier visitors!

Uploading large images at full size is not recommended. Though our 'Insert an Image' function in our editor offers a tool similar, here is another great free tool you can use to make any image smaller:
